Bridge of Hope 1 Connecting Environment and Culture Through various mass media outlets we help to communicate the importance of the environment and promotea deeper public understanding of environmental issues. Bridge of Hope 2 Connecting Environment and Business We give corporations a chance to make contributions towards environmental purposes, to establish best investment opportunities for our customers, and to help companies to improve their business performance through donations. Bridge of Hope 3 Connecting Environment and Education We increase the resources available for children, students, teachers, and housewives to receive environmental education. We also support the development of educational programs and the publishing of teaching materials related to environmental issues. Bridge of Hope 4 Connecting Environment and Social Issues We participate in environmental debates among opinionated leaders from different social fields, and propose alternatives for conflicted situations regarding environmental preservation and development. Bridge of Hope 5 Connecting Environmental Organizations and the Future We provide financial support freeing hands-on environmental organizations to concentrate on the actual environmental movement. We also train activists by augmenting their environmental education by sending them to graduate schools and programs abroad. Bridge of Hope 6 Connecting Asia through Environment We commit to becoming a mediator in disputes regarding borderless environmental problems between neighboring countries, to supporting environmental organizations and activists in different Asian countries, and to resolving environmental problems in Asia. Bridge of Hope 7 Holistic preservation These seven Bridges of Hope are our holistic approach to make the world a better place. We will live our daily lives in a manner that respects and values environment and life. We will also strive to understand the needs of the involved parties and find solutions that would benefit everyone. Fairness Transparency We will do our best to prove worthy of our customers¡¯ trust by operating our business and funds in a fair and transparent manner. Initiative Proactive-ness We will consider ourselves as the leader of environment protection and shall proactively carry out our fund-raising, support and planning duties as the Korea Green Foundation. Love for Culture Everyone is aware of the importance of the environment, but it is difficult to make people truly feel the importance and act upon it through instructional methods. Thus, the Korea Green Foundation seeks to take the cultural approach and to encourage people to feel heartfelt gratitude towards nature while enjoying it. In order to help others enjoy the culture, we, ourselves, will lead a lifestyle that enjoys and cares for the culture, and by informing the importance of environment throughvarious cultural mediums, we hope to help people around the world to become more conscious about the world they live in.
