Call for GREEN ASIA GRANT 2012 Applicant

  Please read the following criteria carefully if you are interested in

  applying for GREEN ASIA GRANT 2012.

1. Subject

   Provide grant to NGOs or civic organizations in Asia-Pacific region

2. Eligibility

   NGOs or civic organizations in Asia-Pacific region working for the  

   public good

3. Type (Category)

 1) Subject

․   Environmental issues

    Ex. Climate change, global warming, water and sanitation, species  

    conservation etc.

 2) Contents

   ․ Campaign

   ․ Education

   ․ Research

¡Ø The Asia Solar-Powered Lantern Campaign is now in progress by KGF as  a  separate project. If you want to get Green Asia Grant to support solar-powered lanterns to a village with no electricity, pls. add the information on the field and the plan to manage them. Pls. acknowledge the fact that we didn’t decide to support how many organizations for the Asia Solar-Powered Lantern Campaign from Green Asia Grant though.

 3) Duration

¡Ø You may choose both one-year and multi-year project but multi-year project will be decided after reviewing the project result on completion of the first year.

4. Grant Detail

   Grant amount: 3,000 USD per organization

5. Number of Grant Recipients (no.)

   Up to 10 organizations

6. Selection Process

   Submitted applications will be reviewed by the committee and grant will be

   offered based on the selection criteria

7. Note

    - During the process of project, the banners, pamphlets, etc. must state  

     ‘Korea Green Foundation’ as a sponsor.

   - The project site monitoring schedule will be announced later.
